Winter Session Starts

Sea Lions,

Registration

Tonight is the first night of Winter Session and we are excited to welcome back our swimmers and our new Sea Lions!  We are only doing on-line registration this session, so if you haven’t signed up your swimmers yet, please do so at https://www.sjsealions.com/winter19/

We will have computers available during check in (5:30 – 6:30) however, we encourage you to sign up before, as it helps us with the organizational efforts.

You can also pay online beforehand at  https://www.sjsealions.com/online-payments/

New swimmers please plan to have your photo taken for our Roster Page.  We will be handing out team swim caps and beanies tonight as well.  Swim assessments will start promptly at 6pm.  Session Information Sheet

Upcoming Swim Meets

Due to high school and middle school meets, we will not have practice Wednesday or Thursday this week.  We do have an Invitational in Chesaning on Saturday and the sign up is due by tomorrow at 6pm.  New swimmers are welcome to sign up for this event, the cost is $4 per event.  Sign up here: https://www.sjsealions.com/cohoinvite/

We will also be at Chesaning next friday evening for a dual meet.  We do not have the event list yet, but a sign up will be available shortly.  There are no costs for dual meets.  Please check our Calender and Meet Schedule for updates.

Locker Rooms
Our new swimmers may want to take note that the boy’s High School swim team practices up until 6pm, so the boys locker room does get quite crowded.  Boys are welcomed to use the family locker room if they feel more comfortable.

Communication

Please direct any questions or concerns to us at this email address.  We are happy to set up a time to talk with you, during swim times safety is our number one concern and our coaches and lifeguards must focus their attention on the pool.   Board members are also available most nights during practice.  Parents are welcomed and encouraged to stay and watch practices from the balcony.

Our website is updated often and we encourage you to follow us on Facebook, as that’s where we like to show off our swimmers.

Go Sea Lions!
